Devin Krecl joined Capitol Strategy Group in 2014. Mr. Krecl’s experience brings insider expertise in public and government affairs, lobbying, PAC management, grassroots and grass-tops. Further, Krecl’s knowledge and proficiency in marketing and event planning, oversight of human resources, and firm operations gives his clients and teams all the resources necessary for success.

Cathalene Teahan, MSN CNS RN, joined the firm as a senior public affairs consultant in 2011. Teahan is a noted expert on state budgeting, a veteran health care lobbyist, and patient advocate. Teahan has served on numerous state boards, commissions, task forces, and patient advocacy working groups. Teahan works with the firm's government affairs consultants on health policy, state and federal funding and has served as a point person on several statewide grassroots projects. Teahan is the founder and executive director for the Georgia AIDS Coalition. Teahan graduated from the University of Hawaii with a master's degree as a clinical nurse specialist in psychiatric nursing.

Diana Klenske Kincaid brings three decades of knowledge and experience in the field of political fundraising. Since founding Capitol Strategy Group (CSG) in 2004, she has led the fundraising efforts for many prominent elected officials including Attorney General Chris Carr, Former HHS Secretary and Congressman Tom Price, Congressman Austin Scott, U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss, Governor Nathan Deal, and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Amanda Merl joined Capitol Strategy Group as a consultant in 2017. Her experience in political fundraising and compliance of 15 years blends a unique history working with both statewide and local candidates.


Amanda will be quick to tell you fundraising and compliance found her by wanting to stay out of Washington. After college, she moved to West Virginia to work for the State Republican Party GOTV efforts in 2004.

Jennifer Bannister brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the fields of government and corporate relations, corporate event planning, political and non-profit fundraising, and PAC management.  She successfully integrates for our clients her over twenty years of expertise in business development, government and corporate relations, and event planning including policy forums, dinners and banquets, convention events, and media events across the United States and internationally. Her fundraising expertise includes all aspects of fundraising events for candidate campaigns and non-profit groups encompassing budgeting, major donor recruitment, online solicitation efforts, direct mail strategies and PAC events. She has a broad range of experience in working with corporate executives and organizing various staff serving as an effective member of a cross functional team to meet event goals under tight time deadlines and budget constraints.
