Caitlyn Cooper

Caitlyn Cooperis an experienced business professional who excels at leading organizations and campaigns in financial development and government relations. She is responsible for cultivating large increases in charitable event revenue at large non-profits, and has independently designed and directed some of Georgia’s most recognized charity fundraising events.  

A nationally trained forensic interviewer, Cooper provides expert testimony in child abuse cases in counties across Georgia. Trained at the national center, Cooper has worked some of Georgia’s toughest child abuse cases and continues to provide expert witness in these cases. 

Cooper’s love of politics started at an early age. Cooper accepted her first political job as the volunteer coordinator for a local Superior Court race at age 19. Since then, Cooper has worked on local, state and national campaigns. She has been the Finance Director for over 25 campaigns and several non-profits.  

A 2010 Georgia Trend Magazine 40 Under 40, Cooper was the youngest in 2010 given this prestigious award. Her ability to work with a team led her to positions on over 12 boards in 5 years. Her work has led her to being named Girl Scouts Woman of the Year, the Bar Association Liberty Bell Award recipient and was given a certificate of special recognition by US Congressman Sanford Bishop. Cooper is President Elect of the Marietta Rotary Club, a graduate of Leadership Cobb Class of 2014 and a recent graduate of Honorary Commanders 2016. Cooper was named to the 20 Rising Stars Under 40 list by Cobb Life Magazine and is a Board Member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. Recently, Cooper was awarded the Young Professional of the Year by Cobb Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Jimmy T Anderson Rotarian of the year this summer.

Aside from volunteering in the community, she enjoys travel, decorating and horse racing, which has led her to the Kentucky Derby, Royal Ascot in England, and Melbourne Cup in Australia.
