Her journey in Georgia politics began in the State House of Representatives, where she developed a strong foundation in public service and legislative affairs through her hands-on experience at the State Capitol. Alexus went on to gain valuable campaign experience working on a statewide gubernatorial race for Governor Brian Kemp, as well as several local state campaigns in her hometown. Following her campaign work, she served as a Government Affairs Assistant for a state agency, where she deepened her understanding of government operations and interagency coordination. In this role, she strengthened her ability to analyze legislation, monitor policy developments, and communicate effectively with lawmakers and stakeholders.

Ms. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Kennesaw State University and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Georgia Highlands College. Her academic background in both political science and business allows her to bridge the gap between policy and strategy—an asset she brings to every client engagement. She has a proven record of excellence in legislative relations, policy analysis, and strategic communications.
